ADVANCED COMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH &
DEVELOPMENT S.A.(ACORDE) is a private company established in 1999 by a group of
professionals and university professors with a large experience of 20 years in
radio communications and microwaves industry. Our activities are focused on
high technology subsystems and components for Space, Telecommunications and
Defence Sectors mainly related to Radiocommunications systems. ACORDE is a
dynamic business with high R&D capacity, dedicated to design and
manufacture (small and medium production series) of radiofrequency, microwave
and mm-wave components, equipment and systems for satellite and terrestrial
communications.

The
objectives of our company in the Space programmes are the development of new
technologies and techniques for Radiocommunications and the design of new
components and systems to be used later in terrestrial communications
systems.
These are ACORDE's main space specializations.
ACORDE
has facilities for design and manufacturing small and medium series of
subsystems and components for frequencies from few MHz up to 60 GHz. The design
and manufacturing of sophisticated prototypes can be carried out in a very
short time using the clean room facilities equipped with photolithographic
process, wire-bonding machines for gold and aluminium wires, flip-chip and
micro-BGA welding machines. In addition, it has instrumentation for
measurements up to mm-wave frequencies and vibrations and climatic chambers for
testing components that must fulfil space and military specifications.
ACORDE participates actively in the Research Programme of E.U. and other
institutions like ESA, in projects of telecommunication, space and aeronautics.
The company collaborates with the most important European companies of these
sectors. The company has 30 high level engineers working in these activities.
ACORDE has being certified by ISO 9001/2000 and AQAP 2110 of NATO
standards.
