ASTRA Platform Services GmbH (APS) is a subsidiary of SES ASTRA and operates in Unterföhring near Munchic one of Europe's most modern playout centres. APS provides technical support for TV and radio broadcasters and production companies and offers a comprehensive range of services for the preparation, transmission and archiving of digital content.

These include both digital archiving and playout, as well as processing and transmission of content via satellite, over the internet or to mobile devices. As Germany's first playout centre, APS also provides a complete HDTV playout service for HD channels.
