Broad Sky Networks
offers satellite services to meet the bandwidth needs of any size distributed
enterprise with far-flung office locations. Netlink Burst, Netlink Platinum,
and Netlink Enterprise are the first true business quality Satellite broadband
Internet offerings with service level guarantees. Broad Sky is proud to become
the first true aggregator of these services dedicated to serving the needs of
its agents, integrators, and resellers.
Broad Sky has entered into
agreements to resell the following Satellite providers: Isotropic, Inmarsat,
Immeon, Hughes, Intersat, SpaceNet, Strarband and have agreements pending with
new Low Earth Orbit (LEO) providers Wildblue and Spaceway.
We take
these disparate providers services and offer our clients the following
simplified pricing and service bundles. We handle the engineering, professional
installation, customer care, and technical support.
Netlink
Burst is offered as a Frame Relay alternative or dial-up/ISDN upgrade for
retailers or remote offices with up to 20 concurrent users. The minimum
download speed is 512 Kbps, with UDP applications and FTP file transfers able
to burst to speeds of 1 Mbps and more. The minimum upload speed is 76 Kbps,
with bursts up to 192 Kbps.
Netlink Platinum is a Fractional T-1
or higher service replacement for locations of with up to 50 concurrent users.
It offers a minimum download speed of 1.3 Mbps, with bursts of over 2 Mbps or
more for UDP applications and FTP file transfers. The minimum upload speed is
160 Kbps, with bursts up to 384 Kbps. With load balancing two Platinum
services, download speeds of over 4 Mbps and upload speeds of 768 Kbps can be
reached, making it one of the fastest off-the-shelf satellite systems in the
industry half the cost of typical T-1.
Netlink Enterprise
provides private satellite transmissions with guaranteed bandwidth at 1.3 Mbps
down and 384 Kbps up to support hundreds of concurrent users. It also provides
UDP transfers to optimize bandwidth performance for mission critical and
latency sensitive applications with no upload file transfer limits. The service
is also compatible with VoIP applications and VPN's.
These services are
available in the Continental U.S., Alaska, and Canada. Netlink Enterprise is
also available in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Broad Sky uses its
own proprietary Netlink Optimization Software to provide performance of 50-400%
over the underlying satellite providers it uses (more information is provided
at (Satellite Technical Information). The company also trained over 300 of its
own Professional Services installers and has partnered with Four other National
professional service groups to ensure timely and complete installations in our
entire service footprint.
Other satellite services offered by Broad Sky
include Point of Sale transaction, Mobile Satellite Services, and custom
engineered Private Satellite Network services for larger Enterprise customers
for dedicated networks or redundancy back up for terrestrial networks.
