Alphaview provides the first out-of-the-box
management and control software designed specifically for the satellite
communications, enterprise VSAT, broadcast, cable, microwave, and wireless
markets. The company pioneered the use of web-services and instant messaging
with presence based management solutions for these markets. Today, Alphaview
has over 400 system installations in two-dozen countries.
Alphaview's
flagship product, Xpress, provides a common user and application interface for
all managed devices, regardless of the device s management interface, for both
SNMP and non-SNMP devices. Xpress is based on Web-services and is the first
infrastructure management software to offer the use of XML, instant messaging
with presence and advanced graphics utilities.
The software delivers
application, system and device monitoring and management, including
configuration and control of all network devices, as well as system performance
management. Xpress intelligently interfaces to voice, video and data network
equipment, power equipment, as well as satellite network equipment and
facilities.
