INTV is the leader in provision of widest
range of satellite communication services in the Czech Republic.
The
company started in 1991, its 15+ year experience is synonym of quality and
guarantee of its services. Located in the capital city of Prague, INTV today is
a key solution-over-satellite provider for a number of governmental
institutions and agencies, as well as Czech and foreign companies and
corporations.
Starting 1993, for several years INTV was providing
satellite distribution of the historically first Czech cable TV channels. Today
the company provides playout and satellite distribution services for a number
of TV broadcasters, using most modern playout, compression and uplink equipment
at the INTV Teleport in Prague.
Besides satellite TV, the company has
mainly focused on data and voice transmission over satellite. The history of
the INTV data services over satellite goes back to the year 1993, when INTV
acquired first commercial customers for point-to-point data and voice delivery
over satellite. The year 1994 was an important turning-point when INTV has
become a provider of satellite telecommunication services to the Army of the
Czech Republic. As to important historical milestones, it is worth to mention
also years 1999 - 2000, when INTV operated a 2 MB SCPC link for the
NATO.
Television and radio broadcasting
Already in 1993, our
company received the first Czech Republic license for the provision of
telecommunications services in the sense of satellite television signal
transfer in the Ku band and for the operation of its own terrestrial stations
built for those purposes. We have been developing the activities in accordance
with the new law on electronic communications.
At present, we are able
to provide both digital and analogue broadcasting by means of terrestrial,
internationally registered satellite uplink stations in Prague. Thanks to the
experience from non-stop broadcasting of the Kabel Plus Film, ART TV,
Nickelodeon, Zone Vision and other film channels we can provide top services
both to entities from the Czech Republic and from abroad. The provision of
services in accordance with the ISO 9000 : 2001 is a guarantee of quality since
the procedures to ensure defect-free operation have been compiled in compliance
with the standard.
At present we are providing services to partners that
appreciate particularly our flexibility resulting from the possibility of using
our analogue or digital workstation, using video-servers etc.
Our
company is ready to provide non-stop broadcasting of radio and television
signal for public as well as private television and radio companies in the
Czech Republic as well as abroad.
