Lakes, South Australia, Iterative Connections Pty Ltd is a recently created
company which has the objective to commercialise the latest research outcomes
in the area of error control coding achieved at the Institute for
Telecommunications Research (ITR), University of South Australia.
Iterative Connection's S-Tec codec is a newly developed forward error control
technology enabling quasi-error-free satellite communications at less than 1 dB
from channel capacity.
Our company formed a joint venture alliance,
Ultimate Datum, with Datum Systems Inc., a Silicon Valley satellite
communications modem manufacturer, in July 2003. Ultimate Datum's Premier
series modems feature Iterative Connection's S-Tec Turbo coding technology to
create a superior performing modem for high volume point-to-point
communicators.
