L-3 GCS specialises in the supply of
deployable satellite communications solutions and turnkey systems, offering a
complete line of satellite communications products including satellite phones
and airtime, quick-deploy VSAT terminals and space segment, vehicular
communications system, and turnkey mobile offices.
VSAT Terminals
& Software
GCS offers a variety of VSAT satellite terminals and
turnkey network solutions to meet wide range of applications and requirements.
These include a family of quick deploy flyaway, fly and drive, transportable
and fixed earth station satellite terminals. Each of these terminal types can
be provided for C, Ku and X Band or multiband operation.
These terminals
are available for dedicated point-to-point SCPC and SCPC DAMA networks, shared
bandwidth-on-demand networks and broadcast quality MPEG video transmission. The
systems are available as mesh or star configuration. GCS also provides space
segment and/or Teleport access services on a full-period long-term lease basis
or occasional usage for emergency communications.

to leverage in-house VSAT products and technical expertise in the field of
satellite communications to provide enhanced worldwide reach-back capabilities
in our system solutions.

unique view of the customer’s operational needs combined with our
knowledge of current and future industry trends and standards in an effort to
develop achievable objectives. We understand that systems engineering is a
discovery process that begins with a complete understanding of expectations and
desires.
Satellite Phones and Airtime
GCS provides a broad
selection of satellite communications systems including handheld, portable,
fixed, maritime, and vehicular terminals for a wide range of voice, data and
video transmission applications.
We offer a variety of handheld satphone
solutions as well as data-centric systems starting with Inmarsat’s M4
(Global-Area-Network), Fleet, and BGAN terminals. These custom systems include
competitive airtime rates, value-added solutions, as well as repair &
support services.
GCS strives to offer simple yet complete turnkey
systems to our customers including applications integration and technical
