Design, development, qualification and
manufacturing of spaceborne advanced active microwave equipment, such as: LNA,
Frequency Converters, Low Phase Noise Local Oscillators, Power Dividers, SSPA,
complete receivers and transponders.
Our facilities include 10,000 and
100,000 clean rooms, high performance electronic RF instrumentation,
environmental testing facilities, to carry out the engineering activities,
production and testing of our equipments and systems, being able to cope with
high recurrence production requirements.
Mier Comunicaciones equipment
is used for a wide variety of applications, from communications to Earth
observation or even scientific and navigation satellites. Some of the projects
we have been involved recently are: ICO G1 and TerreStar 1&2 (Space
System/Loral), SMOS (EADS CASA Espacio), Amazonas 1&2 (Thales Alenia
Space), Planck (ESA) or Galileo (Astrium Satellites).
