Netsystem provides broadband Internet access in Italy and across
Europe.
Users require a small satellite dish, a standard DVB card for
the PC and a traditional analogue modem.
Netsystem's Internet connection
services are based on Unicast transmission: the user connects to the Netsystem
POP through its phone modem, while the data delivery is provided via satellite
through the satellite dish to the PC's DVB card.
Netsystem's Sat ADSL
service allows Internet surfing and downloading at speeds up to 300 kb/s for
1.5 GB of data per month: the customer does not need to change its existing ISP
connection. The service is available throughout Europe.
