Laboratories, an Italian SME, have been founded in January 2002 as engineering
and manufacturing company focused to radio, digital and wireless
technology.

and job creation. Small and medium enterprises play a much more important role
than in the recent past. Flexibility and structure light cost allow SMEs to
react in the proper way to the market dynamics and evolution while distributed
networks of knowledge create a remarkable impact in the new product development
process.
Business competitiveness, to a large extent, depends upon the
ability of enterprises to develop new products, processes and services by
applying innovative approaches to transferring and adapting technologies and
managing the process in an effective way.
Integration of new
technologies and devices, right architectural design and fast prototyping are
key elements to validate in the early stage a new product concept. In the
exploratory phase R&D budget are usually limited and a light project
structure is mandatory. Proof-of-concept studies, technology assessments and
architectural trade-offs are basic steps in this process. Radio Digital
Laboratories offer their network of skill, competencies and relationship, in
Europe as well as in the States, to conduct this phase and to carry on
technology and product demonstrators.
