Tekdata Interconnections is a leading interconnects outsourcing specialist for world-leading avionics, defence and space companies. Capabilities are almost unrivalled in breadth, including electric/electronic cable and harness design, rapid prototyping and manufacture (copper, fibre optic and cryogenic), complex cabinet/box assembly, test, commissioning, repair and maintenance. We also design and make cryogenic high vacuum feed-throughs.

With its unique Cryoconnect® products, Tekdata is one of very few companies meeting NASA's and the ESA's demanding standards for interconnection systems. Tekdata designs solutions to function, size, weight, thermal budget, flexibility (including at cryogenic temperatures), routing and/or cost.

Tekdata has large numbers of harnesses and feed-throughs on board increasing numbers of satellites including Hubble, James Webb Space Telescope, and the Herschel and Planck satellites. Cryoconnect harnesses and feed-throughs are also used extensively on cryogenically cooled detectors for various CERN instruments and terrestrial telescopes operating over most wavelengths.

Tekdata operates from a UK-based 40,000 sq ft factory and holds certification to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 and approvals (including preferred supplier status) from major aerospace, space and military primes. We have ESA qualified wiremen.
