TELDIX is
one of the largest manufacturers of Momentum Wheels to stabilize satellites. As
of January 2005,a total of 588 TELDIX wheels installed in 235 satellites have
been launched representing more than 2200 years of flawless in-orbit
operation.
TELDIX momentum and reaction wheels are available in five
different sizes with angular momentum storage capacity spanning a range between
0.04 Nms and 68 Nms. The wheels accomodate the rquirements of attitude control
systems for satellites weighing less than 65 kg as well as for geostationary
satellites reaching a mass of three tons and more.
