Thales Alenia Space Antwerp is active in satellite
telecommunications and provides products, system solutions and expertise for:
broadband access systems via satellite, Microwave/RF products, satellite ground
control stations for data reception from earth observation satellites and for
telemetry/telecontrol of spacecraft, and test systems used for the integration
of satellites.
Our product line includes DVB-RCS Satellite Broadband
Access Systems, SATCOM RF equipment (Transceivers, BUCS and Frequency U/D
Converters), SATCOM Modem Equipment (advanced MF-TDMA Burst Mode Demodulator),
Earth Observation Reception and Ingestion (Advanced Earth Observation Data
Acquisition System), and Satellite Telemetry and Telecommand Base Band
Equipment.
The products and expertise of the highly qualified staff at
Thales Alenia Space Antwerp are used in both commercial and military
programmes, and ESA programmes for scientific applications, earth observation,
manned space programs and telecommunications research.

Space Antwerp employs around 80 people, the majority of which hold an
engineering degree, with strong expertise in the areas of digital signal
processing; hardware and software design, and in the management and technical
lead of complex projects.
