XSAT USA, based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is one of Thuraya's
International Service Providers (ISP's) and has been in operation since 2002.
In a relatively short period of time, it has become a top ten service provider
for Thuraya, with over 400,000 minutes of airtime per month. XSAT also
maintains offices in Dubai UAE, from where it liaises with Thuraya, manages
sales in the Middle East and Africa, and is responsible for product shipment
and equipment maintenance.
As an official ISP for Thuraya, XSAT s
mission is to market and sell its products and services internationally.
Thuraya is a mobile satellite telecommunications operator based in the UAE that
operates in over 110 countries. It offers mobile handsets that combine
satellite, GSM and GPS all in a single unit. Thuraya also offers satellite
payphones and independent fixed satellite telephones (PCO) in Thuraya's area of
coverage which spans all of Europe, as well as most of Africa and
Asia.
